Padel tennis, one of the fastest-growing sports in recent years, has brought with it a significant need for infrastructure. However, building a padel court is not simply about creating a playing area; this process is subject to strict technical criteria set by international federations. At B&C Skandinavia Sports, with our global experience in sports facility construction since 1994, we know that a padel court must meet specific standards for both player safety and official tournament approval.
One of the fundamental references in the design of a padel court is the current Padel Rules published by the International Padel Federation (FIP) . The FIP rules, which are in effect as of January 1, 2026, define many technical elements, including court dimensions, enclosure systems, playing surface, access points, safety areas, and lighting.
At B&C Skandianvia Sport, we design and implement our padel courts in accordance with current FIP rules and relevant technical requirements. In our projects, we consider player safety, game quality, structural durability, and long-term usability, providing professional-standard padel facilities.
A court meeting the dimensions and technical requirements of the FIP rules does not automatically mean it has been officially homologated for a specific FIP organization . For professional tournaments and international events, the relevant FIP homologation criteria and organization-specific technical requirements must be met separately.
At B&C Skandianvia Sport, we approach every project as a whole, considering the court's glass, steel structure, metal fence, flooring, drainage, lighting, and security systems; developing solutions tailored to the project's intended use and field conditions.
