MIXTO is a surface made with hybrid technology, that ensures the best harmony between natural and artificial turf. In fact, with MIXTO the artificial matrix that is specially developed and installed on a specifically patented unique primary surface, protects the natural grass roots, promoting deep root development.
Synthetic Hybrid Turf
Hybrid grass is an artificial turf system created by combining natural grass seeds with artificial grass made of synthetic yarn. Due to the closed architecture of the stadiums, insufficient air flow, and unsuitable weather conditions, the durability of natural grass pitches is insufficient (yellowing quickly in hot environments, grass pitch breaks on wet ground during match times, etc.) and maintenance costs are high. The hybrid system was developed to reinforce natural grass, as there is no need for reconstruction, repair or intensive maintenance in fields established with natural grass.
