Pitch Dimensions
Cageball pitches feature a more compact playing area than traditional football pitches. An example layout may measure approximately 30 metres long and 20 metres wide. Exact dimensions can vary depending on project requirements, available space and intended use. Perimeter boards and protective netting define the playing area and help keep the ball in play.
Team Structure and Game Dynamics
Cageball is commonly played in a five-a-side format, with two teams of five players. The compact layout encourages frequent touches on the ball, teamwork and technical skill development. The ability to use the surrounding walls to keep play moving creates a faster, more engaging and exciting football experience.
